Description

This course is designed for Florida Chapter 491 licensed professionals and in compliance with Rule 64B4-6.001(4) of the Florida Administrative Code (FAC). Pursuant to this code: every third biennium after initial licensure, a licensee must complete a 3-hour laws and rules continuing education course. Licensees will review updates to Florida Chapter 491, Rule 64.B.4. of the FAC and Florida Chapter 456.  In addition, the participants will review disciplinary actions before the Board of CSW, MFT, and MHC and the consequences for violating the laws and rules.

Course Objectives

• Participants will demonstrate knowledge of the updated laws and rules.
• Participants will understand  the dynamics of the Board of CSW, MFT, and MHC 
• Participants will review real-life disciplinary actions before the Board of CSW, MFT, and MHC, and the consequences of violating laws and rules.
• Participants will understand his or her professional responsibility in keeping current with the changes to Florida Laws and Rules.
