Additionally, Participants will consider the short and long-term effects and other medical consequences of inhalant abuse. Also, Participants will be able to recognize the signs of inhalant abuse. Finally, Participants will conclude by learning about the hazards of chemicals found in commonly abused inhalants and the particular risks associated with nitrite abuse. This course is intended to familiarize mental health professionals, social workers, substance abuse professionals, child welfare workers, healthcare professionals, psychologists, or certified addiction specialists, with current knowledge of inhalant abuse and its harmful effects.
